Akal Har Prem Singh or Frederic Jochem is a Certified K.R.I. Kundalini Yoga Teacher with nearly a decade of experience.
After over fifteen years of a Hatha Yoga practice with the Yoga Schools of Dharma Mittra and of Sivananda, in 2011 Akal Har Prem discovered Kundalini Yoga.
Shortly after practicing Kundalini he embarked in the Level One of the 200 hours Teacher Training Course in Rishikesh, India with Gurmukh Kaur Khalsa and Gurushabd Singh Khalsa. Since 2017 he has dedicated himself to attending the different Level Two of the 500 hours of Teacher Training Courses with Guru Dharam Singh Khalsa and Siri Sat Kaur in Egypt and in New-York City. Akal Har Prem has also attended the Teacher Training Level Three of “ The 21 Stages of Meditation” Upstate New-York with Mahan Rishi Singh Khalsa and S.S. Nirbhe Kaur Khalsa. In 2019 he participated to The SatNam Rasayan Annual Fest in Perugia, Italy with Sant Singh GuruDev Singh Khalsa.
Akal Har Prem’s solid practice and teachings combine
This work together with the power of the sacred sound current, allows the body and the mind to balance, unify, relax and heal itself. By doing so, the Spirit flows freely.
When in New-York, Akal Har Prem leads Sadhana at RaMa Institut N.Y. and at Hari-The Treeehouse. His home is also “Kundalini Yoga East” the oldest Kundalini Yoga Studio in N.Y. founded in 1971 by the direct followers of Yogi Bhajan, the Sat Jivans, from whom he gets his teachings. When he is in the South of France, he teaches at “Pure Nature Yoga” and at “Ombre Bleue Yoga” on the Saint-Tropez Peninsula. He teaches privately and organizes retreats.
Akal Har Prem Singh –AKA- Frederic Jochem is a French born, New-York base Interior Design – Architect. After being raised in France, Iran, Lebanon and in the Netherlands, he graduated from Paris University in 1981, he sailed for a year in the Pacific Ocean, then he lived in Algeria, the Ivory Coast, the USA in Houston (TX) and Newport Beach (CA) before moving to New-York in 1985 where he opened his own business in 1989. Currently he lives on the Saint-Tropez Peninsula (South of France) and in Manhattan. For his Yoga practice, he frequently travels to India.
